Dr. Abinwi C. Nchise a MIS Adjunct Professor at Southern University and A&M College and also Director of Research and Operations at the Southern University’s International Center for Information Technology and Development (ICITD) Baton Rouge. He is also the Director of Admissions and Records at the ICT University, USA/Cameroon a hybrid online and onsite institution which focuses on information and communications technology (ICT) training of over 5,500 stellar scholars based in developing nations. His research dwells on the interactions of social, cultural, and infrastructural aspects of information technology transfer to developing nations; theorizing human-technology interaction and user experience research representation and citizen’s engagement in the information age.
With a Ph.D. in Public Policy, Concentration in Information Technology Policy at Southern University and A&M College, he has adopted an extensive interdisciplinary mix of social science and information system research approaches in all two streams of his research.
In his growing research career, he has published several papers in international refereed journals and conference proceedings on Information technology transfer, implementation and adoption in Africa, Asia and in the United States.
Dr. Nchise is a member of African Society for Information and Communication Technology (ASICT), Louisiana Academy of Sciences (LAS), Digital Government Society of North America and Member of organizing committee of the International conference of ICT for Africa.
